Been off today, so I've done some more work on the chassis:
- Grind the chassis and put some white anti-rust paint where needed:
- Spray some sanding sealer:
- Spray "Blackson" on the lower-side for protection:
The next step is the "black chassis" paint.

Those are very nice, I found them just before I was checking this your post.
Good luck to get them, but price can go up... beware.

I bet you never get that sort of NOS caps with that price. They went cheap.

More work done today. I've checked the Driveshafts (which are in perfect condition), and replaced the gaiters, refurbished the spring tubes and received an arrival of parts (rubber bump stops, etc...)
Tomorrow, I'll feet everything (wheels, suspension and gearbox) back on the chassis. I'll try to go as well as low as possible just by adjusting the suspension tie rod end eyes.
Still thinking of those hubcaps I missed on ebay. Do you guys think that 15" mooneyes hubcaps would feet on the 2CV wheels? Some of them are nice and not so expensive. I remember that Etienne tried some hubcaps on his wheels, but I don't remembe if he had to modify them.

As said yesterday, I did some more work today:
- In the morning:
- Few hours later in the evening:
I screwed the suspension tie rod end eyes up to 2cm to get the chassis low. I've started at 1.5cm but my shock absorbers are not hard enough to handle this heights. So I had to go back to 2cm. Which absorbers do I need to get to go even lower? Or maybe I should wait until I feet everything on the chassis (body shell, engine, seats, full tank, etc...)
Now I have to get this new body shell and I have to be started on the engine too. but probably this Week End... Not before.
If you guys have any comments, shoot!
