Ok Julia here they are, So Sorry
The photos show the layout of the spare wheel and the fuel can carrier mounted in the rear.
The side moulding which have been fitted and painted.
The tube rear bumper fully fitted finally as well as the towbar.
On the last photo i have painted a bit of the finish colour on the side and the roof rack. The German Army ww11 field grey really looks great up close .
Hope you like it Julia
Just got the rear window to fit as i broke the last one i had made (Doh ) then i can fit the moulding on the rear door and paint the whole car. _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

Hey Bjorn, thats a cut down version of the original rear window
The original window would be another 5 inches wider _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

Got a bit done on the estate today.
Finally fitted the rear door glass (without breaking it, ) and had to add some strengthening pieces around the hinge area to stop the door flexing.
Also bonded the moulding strip to the rear door just below the rear window and done a bit of filler work.
You can see the extra strengthening pieces on this photo and i added a door check strap to stop the door opening too far and breaking the hinges. I used a rear door item from the 2cv.
And finally rollered on some paint to see what it would look like. Soon time for the whole car to be painted and then five new wheels to be fitted.
Another day tommorow. Should get the rear door painted and hopefully the rest of the car one coat. If i get time the new wheels as well . _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |
