Nice work Tony...

A nice layer of paint to finish it and it'll be perfect!

Got a bit done on the estate today.
Finally fitted the rear door glass (without breaking it, Laughing ) and had to add some strengthening pieces around the hinge area to stop the door flexing.

Also bonded the moulding strip to the rear door just below the rear window and done a bit of filler work.

You can see the extra strengthening pieces on this photo and i added a door check strap to stop the door opening too far and breaking the hinges. I used a rear door item from the 2cv.

And finally rollered on some paint to see what it would look like. Soon time for the whole car to be painted and then five new wheels to be fitted.

Another day tommorow. Should get the rear door painted and hopefully the rest of the car one coat. If i get time the new wheels as well Very Happy .
