Hey Yellow, Scratch built rear door using the original 2cv rear window and rubber.
Gonna use front door hinges and the handle and lock from the boot lid Very Happy

Olli, no side windows.
I like it as it is and so do the owners. They want to keep it panelled in for better security etc.

So it will not be estate? It will be some sort of 4door panel van? Neutral
Without windows it looks un finnished for me.

Hey Olli,
Looks Unfinished Crying or Very sad ??? Its not yours or mine to decide either way!! The Customer likes it ths way so its down to them really.
If it had windows in the rear sides you would be able to see the spare wheel and the seatbelt mountings which i think look better hidden from sight.

Backfire, i agree with you and really like how itlooks. I think the paint will help the overall effect. Who knows they may put some old style sign writing on the sides Cool .

I liked this project cause result was going to be like a "factory custom"
(I mean this kind a estate could come out from citroen) Now this
Estate/Delivery van mixture is kind a odd ball for me. Sure if you and
customer like it, it should be fine.

Nice fridge, Tony! Wink I'm not too sure about the location of the rear lights though. What about placing them on the door?

Keep up the good work!

hmm, yep, Sam has a point.

I suppose you will be fitting a rear window in the door ?

a recessed part taken from a wrecked car for the license plate could be an idea to finish it off in a less home made way ?

what are the final plans for the door ?

Hey Jozef, the rear door will have a cut down 2cv rear window fitted and a moulded strip accross the middle to match the moulding along the front and rear doors etc. Not Sure about license plate yet. Probs just srewed on the lower part of the door with a number plate light above it, just to keep it simple.
Dont foget guys that this car was built to maximise on space in the rear and not to fit in with any one persons idea of what a true snailer vehicle should look like.
The Customer is happy with it and thats what counts in the end Guys Wink .

Glad you like it Julia Very Happy .
Done some more today and started the filler work so not long now.

Cheers Tony.
