let's check the lights, we've made new rear section with deeper holes and a bit wider so i can have 2 different ways of fittin rear lights this is the first, let's call it "MOT" look (with Olli's idea - using front indicator plastic holder)
here you can see both holes w/o lights
and the same place but no front plastic holder (only not so nice thing is that the hole for the light is wider than the light
this is the side view - yeah the light is inside

and a few better pics of the new roof
inside (I like the fact that it lets so much more light inside hehe)
and when it is closed it hides very well that little fact that under the canvas i do have steel door (next week my friend will install a lock hor that new door witch will be opened from the drivers seat by a small leaver mounted on the floor between the driver door and the seat)
after a few beers in the workshop a crazy idea hit us - to use a part of an old coat hanger (the one you can find in you gradpa's home - that upper part where he keeps his hats) as a sort of a backrack/roofrack hahaha

To my opinion,
The rear lights in the first position looks better.
And lets say about the "roof rack" idea, let's keep it an idea |

if you want i can show you a few more detailed pics of rear dor hindge, and the rear bumper (made by me out of fiberglass), rear door locking sistem... |

This is clean and nice.
I just don't like rear bumper, mirror, hub caps. And I think you should narrow the front light bar. The wide one doesn't match with the small front bumper. _________________ www.super2cv.com |

I hope that the rear bumper will be a bit better when I fit the trim on it!
the wheels will be changed, and about the front lights and the mirror - they R the only ones I have at the moment[/b]
and hopefully will manage to sort the front licence plate problem and make it smaller... but that after the MOT on the 19th of this month |

I like the car, and the idea to put the rear plate and lights in a sheet metal aligned with the laterals and not in a a potruding part just like the old models; is a nice idea, looks good, and have less work to do, so the result (as can be seen) is very clean. _________________ Snail Forum... distilling good taste.
