made sth new over the weekend (and last week)
first welded a frame and the lid for my 5th door that'll be hidden under an oldstyle 50's roof
had a help of my friends here in Zagreb, and for the test fitting have used an old discarted 2cv body
testfitting
a few shots of the "hindges"
they actually do work hehehe
cutting out the small rear window (tnx Etienne for the dimensions)
fitted on that body

and now the rear section of the car - that 5th door in place and placing the rear pannel for this photoshoot
with the licence plate and a tail light
one closeup - a guy from the MOT told me that it is clever to pull the light a bit out of the tube like this because it has to be visible from the side of the car - well better a bit frenched than not frenched, wright?
soon I hope that I'll finish the rear bumper and put the canvas over the rear 5th door and roof also so my car will be even more complete |

If I would french lights like that I would try to use front blinker bottoms.
It would look much more well made.

Why don't you fully french the light and then for the MOT you'll use some spacers to let them go out enough? _________________ www.super2cv.com |
