hmm...ofcourse that changing the lights isn't a problem - the problem is that I only have this orange ones and I think that according to croatian law you must have orange turninglights...
and I'm quiet sure that I've seen a lot of orange turning lights on the '60s cars... |

a few days age I went (with my dear friends) to my parent's house to start up again my 2cv - (one cylinder broke down last fall, and the gerabox showed us some really bad attitude towards driving last summer around Oslo... so the car wasn't it driving order)
to save me the time (not the money) I've decided to put in a completly rebuildt engine and gerabox! stock engine and dyane gerabox
here are some pictures from the action
new engine
old engine and gerabox out on the road
me cleaning the mess left by the noisy leaky gerabox
rebuildt dyane gerabox
yes, the ride hight is to hi...for the trip to France in a few days it will stay like that because we'll have a fully loaded car but after that it will get a propper SNAIL treatment

finally!!!!
I've took some time to fix up my ride a bit...
it all started with changing clutch cable and ended 7 hours later with that old clutch cable but
- new clutch bearing
-new clutch plate
- tuned carb
- reduced/maschined flywheel (from 9kg to 5.5kg)
- fixed/replaced broken front shock mount (I have AK Dy shocks)
- and for the best part - LOWERED
I still want to do this things
- modify front arms
- change front and rear bumper
- close front turnsignals
- redo the roof, back door and the back piece - I've collected some nasty salt on that beach in Camargue
- and maybe some little things that will come up during all the works..
so, here are the first pictures (sorry for the poor quality of the shots)
