I just have to finish welding the boot floor. and check over the whole thing.
I still have some modifications on the front of the car, because I need to figure how fix the front/fenders etc and check how high the engine is...
So body will be off, then I finish the chassis (suspension/brakes etc)
and body back on.
The car will not be painted, I'm after a real hoodride look. Natural rust and polished aluminiums with new rims.
I will make a full custom interior. _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Hey, we live in France, Silc...
that's no problem whatsoever...
And anyways, it's just an AMI 6 with the floors welded too high...
the rest is "stock" or at least, stock looking... _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

JoZeF, Olli,
You're right, it is just a question that I was raizing. But what the hell, who cares about legal things?
I like what you do anyway. Looking forward to see more of this project.

A couple of small things :
Fuel filler, like on the Alfa AZU. used the stock AMI 6 filler tube with modern car fuel tank hoses picked up from the breakers :
One thing I didn't make on the new floors is the fuel tank sender hatch. I guess I'll regret that at some point...
Steering column support.
Made from the original support, a piece of 60mm steel tube and some 20/10 gauge steel plate. All bolts on to original support mounts under the dash. I'm just waiting for a friend who has a lathe to machine some plastic sleeves to slip into the steel tube for guidance.
I'll probably redesign my steering wheel too... I was in a bit of a hurry and forgot a little detail... _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Hey Dule.
I've already started to straighten the metal on the face and rear fenders. The body will be as straight as I can get it.

Not at my garage at the moment.
I will have nearly 3 weeks at the end of next week, so I'm hoping to get the car "rolling"... I'm supposed to get the springs sometime around now ( ) so hopefully chassis and body adapting will be finished very soon.
