Hi
No, I mean the floors will be finished tomorrow hopefully. then body comes off for final welding and underseal and joints.
So I've still got a lot to do...

Jozef,
is that galvanized sheet you're welding?
If so, I hope that there's plenty of ventilation around or you'll be suffering from welder's flu, or worse...

Zintec would be OK, as it's only got a very thin electroplated coating and is designed to be welded 'as is'.

Hi
It is galvanised steel...
I remove the coating with a sanding disk on approx 1 inch around/along where I'm going to be welding. And I do use a mask for grinding and for welding.
I know plain steel would be better but the guys I get the steel from didn't have any thin plain steel... so... _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Hehe,
Yeah, I'm going to make a rear seat from scratch... 2 planks, 2 pieces of foam, and a shape like the original one...
It's not like anyone will ever be sitting in the back _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Shit...
I ran out of MIG wire this evening
So it's 1/3 welded in... but it's looking good...
Body is finished after that, and a little touch up on windscreen surround...
10 days work for a channeling job... _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Too nice for that rusty bucket! No, looks real good, better than I was expecting it to look. It still looks like a usable trunk! |

Thanks
You'll see, it's quite simple. And now you have seen my car you have a better idea than just seeing photos.
If you think you're not going to manage to do it, it's clear that you won't.
It's a question of motivation, not much else _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Hey JoZeF,
What else do you have to do for the chanelling? Is it completed? after the channeling what are you gonna do on the car? what about the body and the paint job?
