Your project sounds really cool !

If I may, try not to mix styles (30s Ford inspiration with LED lights/3rd brake lights... for exmaple). I think the 40s ford lights upside down will be much better !

Very Happy yes, it's simple solution, but you can't use intercooler and boost over 0.3b or 0.4b Confused

I use injection and intercooler with 0.7b currently ( test over 1b Twisted Evil )

Wink great car Wink

0.4b should be enough for my car. that should be app. 45-50 HP.

150 Euro is cheap, but are your throttle bodies capable of withstanding the extra pressure?

Hi Jozef, tnx, but it's not ford i am using but the double chevron citroen logo Wink, which happens to like much like the 40's ford light.

The 3rd breaking light is not LED, but still uses bulbs, if they brake I will exchange them with LED's

i think every throttle body is airtight if it is in a good condition.
otherwise it would leak false air even with a non turbo engine ,because a vacium is also very strong (maybe stronger than pressure)

Yep Joseph got it, and I agree him.
Be careful also about using the citroen logo... Citroen doesn't look cool. When you say "Citroen", everybody thinks "Grandpa driving a Xantia"...

You can look to my 2CV, there is no Citroen logo and that's why! Laughing

Maybe that "citroen" brings a bit different ideas to different nations people.

In finland 2cv is always citroen is there citroen logo or not. It has here
nothing to do whit grandpa and Xantia, exept if you walk whit white pulover
whit red citroen logo, maybe then.

For me I'm more worried that it looks like 90's hitek street rod or 80's chevy
vans whit chevrolet logo shaped windows.

Haha Etienne, if you drive a 2cv in The Netherlands, by default you are a grandpa with or without a logo. I Have been driving 2cv since 1988 and I don't mind what other people think, if I like my 2cv with logo and it makes me happy driving it, then I will keep on driving it.

Psst, Olli my 2cv is from 1987 and will be a street rod, so maybe the idea is not so bad. Alternative is to modify my orgignal rear lights, turn them transparent and change the angle. You know I got the idea from your drawing Wink Wink

Some old pics from turbo project, ok it looks strange, but this way I can fit the alternator at the normal place, the left and right tube have the same lenght and this way the exhaust tube are the shortest. Based on pictures of the enginebase it should fit. I will have to make heatshields to protet the bonnet and the engine.

I like turbon installation, it looks cool!

For style.... Try to look out nowadays street rods. Taking ideas from 90's
when street rods was popular is not maybe best idea. Example Chip Foose's
stuff is worth of looking.

I agree, he is one of my heros since his days at Coddington's. His father, Sam, is building cool rods for others since a few decades.

Yes you r right, Maybe it's better to stick with my own ideas for the creation. Maybe in the end I don't like it, but to become as good as Chip, you have to try things.

Today I made a test for my fuel cap, Fender is the old rusty one with some dents. Better to have an old fender go to waste then a new one.

First I made the pipe and the holder (example is the peace of cardboard). In the ring a drilled the holes and on the back of the ring I welded a nut.
