Hello, i was planning on upgrading to the 123 but i like your twin coil set-up. what coils could i use with my 6v system?

Just use 2 x 6 volt coils. The small VW beetle ones are cheap. |

Blackjack, i ve been looking and i think these would work but would u be kind enough to let me know they would be a good choice?
coils pertronix 45011 45000v 0.6 ohm oil filled 2 for $60 usd
wires pertronix 804280 8mm 500 ohm per foot 4 leads for $35
i ve already ordered the box from bransden $55 shipped to the US

Suzuki Bandit 600 coils are the same primary resistance as 2cv6, i use them in mine and find tthem more reliable than originals.
I've never tried them with 123 ignition but as the resistance is the same i don't see a problem. |

Sorry, i was replying to the thread in general rather than your specific requirements, the bandit coils are designed for 12v systems so would probably not draw enough current to give you strong sparks on a 6v system.
they are also dual output so you couldnt run two of them unless you ground one plug lead from each and that might damage the coils. |
