Now the crossbox is perfeclty fixed to the gear box but on one side it's lower than the other. On the driver side, the crossbox is same level than the chassis and on the passanger side, the crossbox is 3 cm lower than the chassis... Is that normal??

Not as fare as I'm aware.... is the distance from the top of the crossbox to the eyes with which you mount the crossbox on the gearbox the same? Or is you whole engine and gearbox assemble not hanging staight in your car due fucked engine and or gearbox mounts?
Both could cause this 3cm difference.

Cheers, Bart

Engine and gearbox are perfectly straight!! I changed yesterday the engine fixation and so I checked the gearbox fixation too!

I was wondering, are the two screw for the cross box on the same level on each side of the gear box. Maybe there are not, and some cross box are made with same level "hook"...

I just checked it with two gearboxes and crossboxes I have hanging around, but the holes in the gearbox as well as the hooks of the crossbox are on the same level.

Probably your crossbox is a bad patern one with equal hight/length pipes to the heat exchagers, becaust horizontally seen there is about 3cm difference between the two ends of the heat exchangers if I remember it right.

Cheers, Bart

Using Mexican plancets as on Seats is not Etiennes idea Wink
They are used a lot in ratrod scene - before Etienne used
them on his 2cv. But in 2cv scene they are maybe first ones.
