OK - time to do the interior. Here is what I've done so far.
Bought myself a red pearl Epco shift knob from the excellent selection at House O'Speed: www.hotrodshiftknob.com
Also got myself new seat covers from ECAS 2CV Parts (material similar to wet suits... good fit) - with this I know I'm going away from the promised "Tuck and Roll" theme a bit, but with too little time on my hands to pull that of right now I feel this is the next best thing.
The floor is red carpet and the sides above the windows in the same material - it match the inner side of the vinyl flake roof which is more red than pink on the inside. Door panels will be red vinyl and older higher version.
The question is what to do with the dashboard. I like the newer speedo together with the Moon steering wheel - more American 50īs than the early small speedo. So I will keept that and the console - but black? That seems too boring with the red theme. Maybe white console and upper plastic thingy beneath the wind screen and red vinyl on the parcel shelf - What do you think?

Maybe should you go for something looking more serious. Something like this :
Don't you think the red carpet is too much ? I think the red seat would look better on a plain black carpet. Here it looks like different kind of reds.
And sorry but the big speedo looks so plastic. _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Interesting dashboard - looks like an aftermarket part. Not my cup of the though, too undetailed/kit car like. If I had time to do a conversion, a Morris Minor dashboard would be nice.
The reds are not perfect but look better in real life. Right now I'm leaning on using the red carpet for the shelf and maybe paint the plastic parts white. The biggest problem with the speedo is the housing I think - with is glossy and uninteresting flat surface - a silver metallic coat could work, or a flat black wrinkle paint finish.

Sorry but you're 100 % wrong . It's from an old Simca and heavily modified to fit in the 2 CV. Looks very clean, speedo is working and showing right speed, and all metal ! 100 % unique ! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

make a new dash and put the big speedo in the center, just over the shift knob.
The speedo is not ugly by itself, ist ugly because is surrounded by a masive plastic dash _________________ Snail Forum... distilling good taste.

Now I recognize it (Aronde) - then I'm duly impressed!
It's a bit difficult to see - but is the gear lever hooked also to the floor?
Another possibility:
A problem is that damned windshield wiper engine. Seems that that was solved on the car with the yellow dashboard with a different wiper mechanism.

No it has the original engine wiper.... Yes it's connected to the floor.
The mini dasboard is an ided, but it would need quite some "cleaning" around it to make it looking good.
Here's another idea :

Some more inspiration:
But since I just bought an old style speedo and mounting plate on ebay.fr it will look something like this - but with lots of red:
