Thank's! :-)

Tomorrow Dolly will make her first appearence after her make over - down by the river in Gothenburg where there is a kind of informal weekly gathering of cars and motorbikes every Wednesday evening in the summertime - and the weather is perfect. I'll take som photos then.

OK - so today Dolly had her premiére at the car gathering by the opera. The weather was perfect. Already on the bridge to town interesting cars were gathering (Chevy 57, old beetle etc):

At the meeting the Citroën oldtimers welcomed Dolly back to the family.
"- But shouldn't you lower it a bit more at the front end?"

Maybe the side indicators drew the most attention - "- are these original?"

On the way home I took some more photos:

Hope you like it.

Now I only need that front bumper so I can mount the fog light.

I like it,
I once had a question,
how many inches is yours lowered?
you may have extended drawbar eyes?
they sit with me at the front but a c.m. more and yours is right below.
and is still easy to drive?

Well done, I think it does look very very nice ! The color combo is great.

The roof looks a bit not tied enough on the back, does it need some extra work ?

But sorry I think the side indicators are crap. It just doesn't fit at all rest of the car.. Just my point, and that's just the smallest detail I would criticize on this car !

Will you make the seat in a red and white tuck'n'roll ?

Thank's! :-)

About the indicators - well as we say so elegantly in Sweden "Smaken är som baken" - "Taste is like the butt" (it's divided). Most of all I´d like to get rid of the indicators. I might hide the front ones, that are now beneath the headlights, inside the headlights, but after MOT inspection. And thinking about it - I´m not sure side indicators are mandatory - I have to check that. Any tips on nicer side indicator solutions are welcome. Wink And by the way - has anyone seen a nice antenna solution on a 2CV?

Interior - Right on Etienne - I am thinking Tuck'n Roll - but maybe a little more "wolly" than "plasticky", maybe dark pink and white, or solid dark pink. Fully visible seat frames - dark pink. Small speedometer. No plastic rear view mirror. No plastic upper part of door panels etc.

Fog light - I think you are right - no foglight.

Also need nicer wind shield wipers.

Chrome strip beneath the doors instead of black tape?

Roof - Yes, it needs adjustment at the left side. I placed an adjusment screw beneath the rail on the right side and that seems to work. I will do the same on the left side.

Stance - ok? It shouldn't be - it just happened. I thought - ok so many millimeters of thread on the front rods and so many on the rear - to start with - then we will adjust. But maybe juuust a little lower at the front...

duck-tuc - its lowered the classic 6 centimeters (floor moved to the top of the sills). Also the front console that tholds the headlights and the front part of the fenders is lowered 6 cm. Its no problem to steer as long as it rolls just a little forward. The sitting position is perfect. I might have to extend the gear lever just a little though.

Cheers,
Marcus
