hi everybody,
my name is malte. i'm from germany ( near. bielefeld )
i'm glad that i have found some more crazy guys who are customizing their 2cv's. ( at last : normal people )
this is my current ride:
everything is legal and and verified by the german TÜV.
customizing in germany is really difficult, every little modification has to be reviewed.and if your inspector is an asshole you can forget customizing.
(sorry for my bad english)
greetings

Hi Malte nice ride!
Is your exhaust a strait pipe or have you adapted an exhaust from another car? _________________ camille |

i just added another pipe to the first silencer.
( this works only with the "walker" silencer, cause this one is symmetric inside )
==> the exhaust on the right side is a copy of the one on the left.
i think i don't loose power. as far is i know, citroen tried to make the exhaust quiet by taking smaller pipes. or am i wrong? :)
off course, there has to be enough back-pressure, only with the second pipe with the same diameter this is given.
ok, perhaps it feels like 5 ps more because it's louder _________________ in rust we trust... |

With regular engine, the regular exhaust is perfectly adapted to get the best power of the engine! I've read some really good test about that!
When you modify exhaust in best case, you loose nothing!
Anyway, make some more noise is fun, I like loud car! Mine has just one body and exit on the side! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Well, I could have guessed but I didn't think it was used very much outside of the Netherlands.
