I start it!
Go ahead show the pics you got here...
There is just 3 rules :
- Just show good ones : the car should have been great at this times, some stuff are really well ideas, the car is really well done. When you show a car, you say why!
- Only real 80's custom! Please not car made last year looks like it has been make 20 years ago!! If the car is from early 90's or late 70's, I don't care!
- If somebody says I'm not cool, I erase his profile!

First pic!
It seems it was in 1982... and I like this car... still as it stays in 1982 !
Huge mirrors, kit bipe, Intervan wheels, I guess this car was terrific in 1982!
(don't copy it don't copy it don't copy it don't copy it)

Nice topic.
I really don't know why this should not be here, customs are customs, no matter what time they were created. What one may find cool, can be another persons nightmare, but still, i can enjoy the time taken building anything.
I have some images, but i have no idea what the build dates are, lol.
Some are cool, some are...........mmmmwel, lets say, not so original ideas (like they are done and seen before). But, again, to my opinion, it's still "custom".
I'll start scanning, and post some, then you'll can tell me if they are posten in the richt thread.

Finnish 2cv Pick-up. Licence to this modification is given in 1985. Lots of small detail made from curly birch... _________________ Make it today, tomorrow it's probably illegal... |

1977 is not exactly 80's custom... but in fact I was very surprised when I found this one...
and I did not know if it would need a dedicated post...
Is it a "one of a kind" or it has been produced in several copies?
It is said this 2 doors cab's body is made of steel, no polyester. Does it justify the price... don't think so... _________________ no 2cv... just curious... |

I saw that ami at Egletons, and its crazy, how can anybody make an Ami look uglier than it is?
Did the guy who built that car stand back in his garage and think "yup, that looks great like that, hang on, i think some pram handles will be a gret finishing touch..." _________________
