Some other work:
One of the shock absorber mounting studs had broken in the mounting. We tried drilling it but nothing would get it out/
This was the only way!
Russ cut it out for me.
Leaving this:
As soon as the mount was placed in a proper drill the remains of the stud came out no problem.
Some grinding to get the weld smooth
and welded and painted back in position.
Sorted some more rust - with lacquer this time
