On www.citroen.ac go to "Photos", klick "2cv", klick "azu+ak" and go to page 8. You´ll find a nice AK-Lowrider there. I think it´s from the 80`s.

I suppose you are talking about Petrés' yellow van ?
That is built on a M35 châssis with Citroën original M35 components. The hardcore Citroën enthusiasts love It
But it's less work to do and end result is not low in any way, basically. Apart from the roof chop maybe _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Bah!
LHM is cheating... LHS is the only pure way.
Naturally my ironic comments come out of pure envy!

This week i got the opportunity to buy a damaged peugeot 106,i bought it just for the rear axle .I want to build one of the torsion bars inside the rear axle to let it work as a stabilisator and one over the front axle also as stabilisator .i am not going to rebuild the airride to make it go side to side i just want to make it steady around the curves even when it is lifted 10cm .I just moved to my new home after rebuilding it completely and i am now working to build my new workshop. When it is finished i will do some more changes to the lowrider to make it finished.
I already have some new ideas for two new 2cv based projects ,one will be a 2cv off-road car as extreme as possible because i will try to make it as good or better as the barbour ones.
The other one will be a lomax based project but thinking completely out of the picture, i have some cool ideas and will try to realise them. |

Hi guys i am back and want to do a complete rebuild on my shitty brown lowest 2cv with airride .
I want to completely redo the bodywork in a not as ratlook car but want to make the body and panels smooth ,i have some ideas about some styling changes and new undone look with the car .After six years i want to redo the air suspension and make it better adjustable and safer and i want to make the car a lot faster because at a circuit it handles like a go kart but doesnt match the performance in speed .The car has to be finished before WM 2015 in Poland .
Now i am sourching all the parts needed to do the rebuild and for one time i want to build the project in more than three weeks before the WM . |

there was a chez man that was at the world meeting in holland 1997. He had part BX, part GS with double rear axle and AK top!
Braked only on 1 of the rear axle and use like a liter of green blood every day! It was leaking all over but it could raise and lower! Dangerous as hell that was!
It was in my town visiting people i dont know back then, i seen him drive on the meeting, but i cant think of any pictures i made? (1997..... no digital...) _________________ If it ain't fast, make it LOUD!!! |

Ah Nico!
Good idea!
Suggestion: remove all the handles from the doors and the bood lid.
If you need some parts, let me know. Maybe we've got some spare.
Good luck with it! But as usual, you've got the skills to do it! |
