My sister is selling her almost finished 2cv project!
It's a Citroën 2cv AZA (Sold new in Sweden with first registration januari 1:st 1963)
A nice project that was restored in the nineties but due to my sisters health the project was never completed and since then the car has been stored in a garage...
The car is almost complete and has a sound, reliable restored base.
Most of the car is consistent with the original...
Something of what was done on the car:
- Chassis was repaired, overhauled, painted, thoroughly rust-protected and assembled.
- The engine (12.5hp) was overhauled with new crankshaft, pistons, cylinders, etc...
- Brakes where restored with new cylinders, hoses etc...
- The body structure was overhauled, painted by a professional and mounted.
- Bumpers, head light frame etc. where painted and assembled.
- The electrical system was overhauled and assembled to 99%.
- 5 new Michelin tires was mounted on painted rims! (still in new condition)
And much more ...
What remains to fix is a cable or two + fix and paint the fenders, hoods & doors + interior textiles and some assembly.
Front doors, two sets of back doors, luggage compartment, bonnet, rear wings, are all in good restorable condition.
The front fenders are dented and exhaust system end pipe missing.
The chairs have no textiles. (commenced home made included)
6 original door trims included, the roof is good and a lot more in boxes...
The car is in Linköping / Sweden and shown by appointment.
Prize: 1500€
Contact me for more info.
1962 - 63 is in my opinion, the optimal 2cv!
If only I wasn't so busy with my DSprojekt... _________________ >>Mikael

Some additional info to what has already been written above:
Chassis number : 1412375 (which should be a french 2cv AZA 1963, made in 1962 if I am not mistaken.)
(Swedish registration number: EAH 861)
...and some pictures:
I guess the unrestored body parts affects the over all impression on these pictures...
Mail me for more info and pictures.

Many things done but still lots a work. Its hard to say price for that.
if buyer car realise price of work what is done then its good but sadly
many people just see unfinished car.
Here is one same age 2cv forsale in Finland. Its should be ready for
MOT with "small work", as they always are

Interesting,
That prize sounds reasonable, minus a little negotiation perhaps...
(I'm a bit rusty on the 2cv story after too many DS years, dut isn´t that dash & speedo older than 62?) _________________ >>Mikael |

September 62 is what I thought...(in the back of my childhood 2cv geek mind) my sisters car was first registered in Sweden januari 1 1963 and the chassis number is older than the one in Finland... _________________ >>Mikael |
