does this modification can increase the heat of engine? ( 'cause i have this type of problem.)

Hey, and welcome!
Nice clean car you are having there. Maybe black stripes on bumbers could be cool?
I like stickers you made, especially that they match whit car colors!
Please show your drawings in ART section!

yes. Today 32°C.
Snail's engine is hot too...
i think the fact of put the car "on" the road create no mouvement of air under engine. so is less air-cooled!
Are you agree with that? |

welcome.
i doubt that the engine will get hotter if you lower the car, the main cooling is from your fan and oil cooler. i never noticed a temperature rising
when dropping the car on the road _________________

I agree whit, Stefan.
working 2cv engine should not have any problems in 32c+.
I think factory says that oil can go up to 150celcius whitout damages in engine.
I never did have any heating problems whit 602. (around 150 000 km)
They drive these cars in Africa too!

only problems i had, when i was able to monitor the temperature.............
No, really, i had build in oil temp and pressure gauges, with my tuned up 650 cc engine, so i would be able to ride it in properly. Temps rose sometimes in summer, at the point where i got scared. never had problems though. it got me thinking.........
All those people who are riding 2cv's in Marocco, and even hotter places, just ride them and they never stop doing what they were made for. My 2cv, before the engine tune, i used to ride it like a maniac, summer or winter, until the point where i cuold turn the engine round with my finger, no compression left, and it was still going strong. (almost 300.000 KM's)
When your engine has some milage, and you never had problems, only now because you can read the temp. then i think, remove the temp gauge, and just ride the damn thing.
I did the same, i went nervous, so i took out the meters, and started riding my 2cv as i did in the old days. I have no idea about engine temp. and just drive again, it's a great feeling, hahaha
Sometimes, to know to much, is not the way to go?
