I'd be interested to see that, Cheers - Tony. |
Hi Tony. Sorry but i don't have a scanner The picture was taken at this years London 2 Brighton - it's a really nice photo. Was surprised to see it on the back cover of the CCC magazine, it's a bit 'off the wall' for their tastes! _________________ www.international2cvfriends.com |

Neil, thats cool. The only photos i've seen of SCAR at that show was the ones that i took. Lots of people came up and took pictures of it but its the first time i've seen anyone elses. I was'nt very happy that day. Drove all the way from Colchester, lost the rest of the convoy on the way down and then 200yards from the site the rear mudguard fell off. That will teach me to use land rover crossplys,(like concrete on the road). They shook the car to bits. All changed now though with lovely soft radials, 2cv rims and shortly whitewalls again. _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

I remember seeing SCAR at the L2B campsite at lower beeding, we were camped a bit down from you against the hedge. I was too wrecked to come over and have a proper look! _________________ www.international2cvfriends.com |

Yes mate i did see that . The geezer that took the photos rang me and told me that it was in the paper. Its always nice to see your car/bike/truck whatever in print, especially when you've spent so much time and effort on it, regardless of whether its a standard restoration, or a custom project.
NEIL- Have you got a spare copy of that mag with SCAR on the back, or can you get hold of one for me?? I've never seen that one before and looking on the website i don't think its the sort of mag that i want to subscribe to (if you know what i mean ).
Cheers Guys--Tony. _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

SCAR got a sun visor and a set of 165/80/15 VW BEETLE tyres. Dropped the gearing a bit and reduced the engine revs at high speed |

I have to be honest here, i saw the shifter in Kaptain Krimsons matt black sled and in true japanese style i took it copied it .
Well pleased with how it turned out though and it makes shifting gears so much better .
I will stick some pic's on soon. _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

Hey Tony,
i just got my copy of 2CV Magazine today. Gonna put the dvd disc in the player tonight.... When i quickly went around the pages, your 'monster' was on one of the pages at the article about dunkerque. But i think you've noticed it already.
Cheers
