Hi. I need BOLTS. I'm putting back together an AMI SUPER. ( FOUND IN FIELD ) The bolts i need, fit seat belt bracket to cill. There are 3 bolts that secure bracket. 1 fits in floor 12mm/ 2 fit in cill about 9mm fine thread. I need 2 that fit bracket to cill. CHEEEEEEEERS _________________ I'M NEW TO WELDING |

I can probably get you some of those
not before end of the month, though... and if I can get them off the car, that is... 'cause rust is often an issue in that area... _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Hi,
iirc, the smaller ( M9) bolts into the sills should be the same as those holding the damper mounting plates onto the front radius arms on A series cars fitted with hydraulic dampers.
The larger thread is more likely to be 7/16 UNF, which is universal for seat belt attachments, rather than a metric thread...
( You've got to be wary of that possibilty, as I've learnt with the pattern sills produced in Argentina, which sometimes had 12mm coarse captive nuts, then 12mm fine and eventually got round to the correct 7/16 UNF.
The really dangerous ones were when they used a metric fine thread, as the 7/16 bolt would fit in it, but pull out under load.)

Another case of me not seeing the wood for the trees.
The same bracket and bolts are used as seat belt anchorage reinforcements on 2CVs and Dyanes, but with the bolt positions reversed to how they're installed on Amis, so any scrap late 2CV should have them...
