I finally got a Citroen at the weekend.
I picked up a stock 1980 Dyane 6 that needs a bit of work but is generally complete running.

First job is to lower as much as possible Twisted Evil

I spent about 1 hour lowering and then another 3 just trying to get the front bumpstops off!!

And here it is all done.
Its only the beginning though!

Today i stripped the bulkhead ready for repairing- its quite rusty...
I felt like giving up but then i thought it would be a shame to ditch another car!
After all, its only metal. Wink

Im not sure whether to keep the original dash and parcel shelf or do something a bit different, like maybe have a pod for the speedo and switches or make some sort of glovebox compartment from the support bar, i dont know yet! Laughing

Im not going to put all the water holding insulation back in, that's for sure!

It looks great!
But lots of welding are needed... Good luck and be courageous!

This is what happens in England!
I bought my last VW as a shell that was going to the scrapyard the next day, it was in a worse condition than my Dyane Shocked

Have no fear, we have ways of making things work! Twisted Evil

Im still here!

I havent taken any pics for a while but im doing little jobs now and then.

Ive replaced the C pillars and welded the sills and front quarters.
The body is pretty much done apart from the bulkhead.

Ive come to a standstill while i find some tyres.
Im after some 135/70 15.... I reckon thats what will fit under the wings.

Stock 125 are too tall!

Im pretty confident i can get the bottom edge of the sill 70mm from the floor.
Whilst not as low as an air ride it is a lot lower than stock! Shocked

Are you channeling it? the chassis itself is already 100mm high...and to keep some ground clearance you'd end up with 170mm sill hidth rather than 70 Wink
