So true björn, pressure creates diamonds!

Yeah the sample colour I chose was the same as the roof, camel?, I was a bit scared when it cane out yellow
But I like it now, reminds me of this:
I'm interstate for a week helping my mum and partner fit out a 4x4 van into a monochrome, hopefully they can join us on the raid in August

I'm sorry mate, whilst I understand "needs must", I'm not liking that striker!!
have you done that because legislation dictates you must have burst proof latches? or because you can't get suicide style latches in Oz ? _________________ if it aint broke, fix it till it is |

Yes, The latch must have a two stage operation. I could have used the original 2cv stricker from either early or late 2cv as it is original equipment but they are crap in comparison to this.
I wanted the strongest latch so that I don't deploy the airbrakes unnecessarily

it's true that they have a tendency to open if you hit a big pothole etc, it's one of the reasons I'm 50/50 on wether to change my shell for the suicide shell I already have
if it has to be burst proof, then you've done a tidy job of it _________________ if it aint broke, fix it till it is |

I seem to remember that Olli has a trick to keep them closed on his AZU, but can't remember what the system was _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

I have just pulled two 18hr days/nights on the car doing the final mods for it to be painted
Most of it was spent creating the rear light panel as per Ollie's photshop. I am very pleased with it and did it all myself but the best part is that I chopped up an old Charleston boot for it
It will be sprayed by next week, now i'm back on to the rolling chassis....

Yeah I'm thinking it would be nice to mount the rear number plate on the boot lid off to one side instead of covering the swages.
I got the parts back from the gearbox mount I designed and welded them up, very happy how it looks, now I have to find some m9 bolts that are long enough Perhaps tapping them out to m10 is the only option...
