I see this picture, and even when the proyect havent the adecuate retro-vintage look, it seems to me that the proportions for the door, side window, courtesy rear window and roof are more than right to make a phantom 2cv coupe, preserving the stock rear fenders... so what you think cool or ugly?

This s... have been here before.

Sad fact is that 2cv does not look good without front fenders. Front wheels
just are too back what makes it look like a tractor. In this render ugly
(=read easy make) rear of body even boost this feeling. My vote is ugly as...

Right right, the proyect as a whole sucks, but center your atention only in the stretched door, back side window and roof contour proportions, use your imagination to add ALL the fenders.

The rear end of the body is very angular...

I would loose the bonnet and add something in between the rear wheels. In my opinion the stretched doors and windows look awesome!

Lets see, im not good at photoshop so i sketched it with pencil.

The resulting 5 window coupe looks like this:

Only slightly choped (less than 2 inches) and no sectioned, I think is very interesting how the stretched door and side window give a new proportions to the car that isnt needed a sectioning to get a more sportive look.

Try to forget the first pict i posted Cool

That would be interresting indeed. Cause if the front wheels are not moved forward, the shape is really not good without the fender.
It is kind of the same for the VW beetle. When fenders are removed it is usually to install an "i-beam" or so to have the front wheels moved forward.

Like this one:

Actually I'd love to see that on a 2CV. That would be an awesome project!

Shocked How do you get in inside this... ...thing? Not much space to do through the window.
Not my kind anyway. The shapes are not cool at all

me and a hot rodding mate have been talking about cutting my 2cv up and fitting the engine in the boot or fit the 2cv engine to a rear wheel drive gearbox and axle and using the spare Pop axle from my pick up build pushed out front on a suicide perch, in fact it is the next thing to happen once I get my Pop out of the workshop Laughing
