You should get front arms modified. When lowering 2cv/Ami, TRAIL point
goes more front and steering gets awfull.

I agree with Olli, you should cut and turn the front arms. I've just cut and welded mine on SCAR and the steering is like power assisted now.
I turned mine about 10mm from its original position.
The only thing is by doing that, you may have to extend the steering arms from the rack, as they were too short on mine and would not allow the correct tracking adjustment.

10mm is a lot!
Geoff turns them 7mm, and in 2cv cross 3 to 5mm.

Yeah i know but i've fitted larger VW beetle size tyres on the front so have had to lower it even lower than normal. This has resulted it the EXTREME 10mm turn.
Etienne, have you had to extend the steering arms on your diane or have you got away with it as you have narrowed the axle? Question

I didn't modify them yet, but I'll have to make them shorter for sure.

I made a pair of turned arms today, I went 7mm and Ive got to say, if you have a welder and you arent a total pillock, its the easiest job ever.

I just hope Ive got them right!
