Here perfect project for orange 2cv:

You should do the same for the bumper for example!

Yes, that's on my mind. Take away those vertical parts and paint it same color with body. Because I am lazy to do base work under color I will choose that matt color. And I don't have environment for painting just normal garage.

Ps. My wife has XM '98 which is also under my maintenance... So, Citroën-Merc balance is 2-1 in our family Wink

The Mercedes is cool, I like these german cars!
I really don't like Citroën cars (except for traction, DS, 2CV, GS)...

Is that you, Etienne? Have you been welding to long?

I will admit that there are some Mercs that are not that uncool but this one, no way.

I must say that I don't like the XM that much either but it's better than any Merc.

But, to stay focused on 2CV customs, I am curious to see what your 2CV will be like, Diesel.

My Merc is cool with sport springs etc. But it is mainly for daily use and brings me 50 km to my work and back day after day. But I don't wait any respect for it from 2cv fans. Laughing It just tells that I have large taste.

I am at least as interested to see how Sohvi will be developed as you are...

Watch that, mercedes can be cool : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyD3H4cnwvA

Twisted Evil

About the 2CV, I think the best is to make something simple. Bumper without vertical parts, no turn signals in fenders, lowered, dark color for wheels. The orange color is nice.

Have to agree with mr England, here. The band rocks. I love chicks that can scream very loud.

PS: Lose the Benz.

Done. Now my daily drive is Sohvi. This makes customization a little bit challenging for a while. Let's see.

Wahey, someone listens to me?!? This normally doesn't happen. Congratulations. A rolling customization is a challenge. Maybe buy a BX for 100 euros, just to get around?

I made my hoodride 2cv from a regular 2cv6, and it was my daily driver... Not easy...

One of my citroën friends made a offer. I can drive one of his BXs if I promise to do some fixing to it during my 'rent'.

My wife will get a company car in a few months so this need for BX is temporary.

Ps. New C5 looks nice. Let's see if I can took my wife to get it... Wink

In the Netherlands most leasing companies don't want the C5 anymore because of the high maintenance costs and a lot of technical problems of the first series.
