Than add some sixties hubcaps from an Ami 6 or Azam (aluminium with wide border) and a very fine white wall to keep some contrast with the body. Bare metal scallops could be cool too, but not on this colour. Black will be fine. |
Some 60's hubcaps from any other car could be even better than the uglies Citroën ones. There are some with gold parts, they should look great and fun on the Dyane. And the example of Olli is really cool, and same combination of scallops could work great on this Dyane. _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Just most of the hubcaps are too big for small 2cv (2cv is big car but
details of it are small). Main thing is that those caps are too big for 2cv's
tiny tire and narrow rim. For what is easy to find, I prefere GS hubcaps -
like in Stefans Daily driver...

The Citroën hubcaps are fine because they are pretty sharp and that goes well on a Dyane, but that's just me! If not, take little GS hubcaps! I saw Stefan has them on his green 2cv.
Don't shoot me but I still think this looks pretty hot ...

+1
I like them too. Would be really great idea to use 125/400 wheels on traditional custom style Dyane!!

I want to make suicidal doors for my Dyane!
Could be fun to make a Dyane looks like from the 50's!
Go back to the Tibo's one.... already 3 pages! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Great Hubcaps ! Really better than the hubcaps we can found on every Dyane !
125/400 wheels must be good looking, but what about the price of tyres in an intensive use? (this week end : 1300 km in Dyane/2CV for me !)
I'm thinking about DS or ID hubcaps, but:
-> I don't know their height on a 2cv rim
->I don't know how to fix them
Because they are really good looking :

Same way how to fix these GS hubcaps. Drill two holes to wheel, place isn't exact. When I get home I can measure from my wheel hole places... _________________ Make it today, tomorrow it's probably illegal... |

Hello
The Photoshop of Olli is very beautiful. With my taste I would make the rims in orange and chrome, like it presented by lionel |

But on topic: I think your dyane is nice Tibo I like the basic look so I'd probably keep the looks as it is now + do some 435 tuning absolutely barking mad!!! I have a lightened flighwheel for a 435, so contact me if that would help you.
Cheers, Bart |
