i've been starting stripping interior out, and omg!!!! think i might have to give up on this, no idea how it was mot'ed last year.
rot everywhere.
i'm glad its off the road now, not going back on.
will take some pics tomorrow to show how bad it is. |

After spending a day and half fabricating a new chassis I thought I'd make a start on removing body, bonnet first and oh fuck what a mess. what a pile of shite.
pissed off is an understatement!!!!! think i'll leave it in there to rot. |

all standard spots where the 80's 2cv's do rust until there is nothing left.... but this is still fixable! once you start cutting and welding is doesn't really matter if you have to replace 5 or 10 inches of, for example, the hinge for the hood.
If you can't do it yourself, don't bring it to the scrapyard, but rather make a 2cv addict happy with this '2cv in mint condition with minor rust spots' probably you'll get a couple of pounds for it too.

i did max, but been given chance to buy back, still unsure. i've still got part built chassis in garage. |
