well here is the new project, 1987 2cv dolly. taxed and mot'ed. same owner from 6 months old.
needs a little bit of welding on the bottom of a-posts, new alternator and will need roof replacing at some point.
left a deposit, will be delivered soon.

these are the only pics i've got.







its had new seats fitted.

new brushes fitted, ready for refitting to 2cv alternator. not bad for £6!!! and done within 10mins walking distance. result!!! rotating electrics, escort road, great yarmouth. excellent service done within an hour!!! better than £20 plus at most online sellers.

ok, heres some pics, but be warned its still 4x4, but lower than stock.
need to get the back down so the nut in middle of cap is at bottom of fender.
front a little more, but may need some longer connecting rods.

its also got a side exit peashooter!!!

well, this is the colour for the sh*troen. i said a lot of people won't like it!!!
gloss black wheels with whitewalls and a few extra parts added. will also have a new black hood/roof.

this is as low as it can go without lengthened suspension rods, also is a pic of my tempory repaired hood, might do whole roof like it!!!!

paint here, new roof(parts for) and repair panel ordered, few days off so lets hope for good weather.

roof is going to be something different to normal Very Happy

one panel replaced!!!
first job, remove boot lid, easy as there are no end caps!!!
just slide it off.


as you can see, rather rusty!!!


rather a lot missing.




and how it should look.



back together and re-taped.



found the end caps under the dash!!

hope to get new hood material/sheet tomorrow.

this is what was left of the window surround!!!
not a lot.




plan of attack was to remove hood including rear window, then cover with aluminium sheet but still having a opening hood section at front.



a few more fixings are needed.









got to paint this metal panel in between.





got to get some black boat acrylic material to make new front hood section.



I want to fit an oval rear window.
