Gears are for girls... Single speeding is huge in Oz... Run 32:16 and will fly up the hills |

I made 0 euro budjet Fixed Gear Bike out of old Slovenian Rog bicycle.
I will make some frame mods for it in near future. Also I will change,
crank, pedals, seat.. I would like to find real velodrome handle bars too..
So far I know I was 3rd (street) Fixed Gear driver in Ljubljana.

Hey, today I made hard 5 hours job whit my Rog's frame.
Now it looks a bit nicer. I'm really happy whit result and
how it drives, especially that I can drive still whit out hands!
Thats quite amazing, if you look second picture where I marked all
places where frame was cut today! Bike has also new seat (now the
costs of the bike ar e alredy 4 euros!)

I really like the spokes in those wheels. (And the frame mods, of course). _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Its called "snow flake" spoking.
I was not 100% satisfied of my work yesterday. Pedals were too close to front wheel
and feets were touching it while turning. So today I cut it up again and moved crank
set 2,5cm more rear. Now bike runs really great, I drove almost all way from job to
home whitout hands :) I also turned rear droppers more horisontal and cut some fender
fixings from front forks. Wheelbace is now 95cm when original Rog was 110cm!

some new stuff on my Red Baron..and my shaky hands (can't remember where I've put that camera stand)
new bag on the handlebars and "new" light thta I've found on an oooold bike - that light was the only thing that was ok...so i took it with me ..and gave it a little bit of a WWII look - that is just temporary

You should change your tires for that, if you want a real WWII style!

Hooray, finally some decent shots of the '52. Conclusion after two weeks: solid frame, saddle springs do a good job, gears work perfect ... and everybody looks at it.
