Follow Joseph's advise if you don't want to change the rear panel. Round lights would look aweful.

Hmzz agree. Made some photoshops and it looks mwaaahh... Confused

I found a small hole in the floor when I was preparing the chassis and bottom for the winter (tectyl). So there's still some welding necessary.
Furthermore I've removed the stickers and resprayed it.
This winter I drive with these rear fenders, I've found some better ones, I'll make this ready in the winter for the summer.

On a Triumph car meeting I've bought a fog light and a 'Cherry bomb' for 1 euro! So I'll try to fit the cherry bomb! Cool

Has anyone tried this before? I'm very interested how this will sound?
I've got a broken exhaust, so I will try it first on that one without damaging the good original one.

I think I'm gonna fit the cherry bomb under the front door, just after de curve... So there's only 1 damper left.
If this makes too much noise I think I will cut the good exhaust and put it after de 2nd damper, just for the looks.

I've set the car a bit higher at the front because I've scraped the ground a few times with some friends (4 guys) in the car....

Next week I've got my drive test Shocked
Damn can't wait to drive it by myself instead of my friends with a license or my parents Laughing

photos coming Wink

APK will be a problem with that exhaust. You don't need the second damper but the exit of your exhaust has to be behind the rearest doors!

i know some guys who got APK with this style of exhaust, it just depends on which garage you go to and which guy you talk to.

but rossero is right, the exhaust must end past the rear door.

but you can always get APK with a normal exhaust en then switch to your loud one when you get home...

Ah I didn't know that.
Hmz then I will make a straight pipe to the back door with no damper in it. A little bit more work, but it is a challenge! Wink

So I got next week a driving license! This weekend finishing the chassis and floor with 'tectyl', put the fenders on it and then I can drive it by my own!

the sound won't be nice then, it will be a very sharp high pitch sound. better is to put a motorbike silencer at the end, then you will get a nice deep sound!

p.s. congrats with your rijbewijs! :)

greetzzzzzzzzz

Thanks!
Today I drove it for the first time in my car!
And yeaahh, it drives very good, and its a lot of fun to drive it! I drove the car the whole day Laughing

My driving lesson car was a Citroen C3 on LPG, so this is a whole other experience. Less boring Razz

Now its time to enjoy driving and taking some photos and customize it bit by bit! Very Happy

Wow, that looks interesting Ettiene! Embarassed
I had a different sticker on the back. Without the text. And I had handpainted blue wheels.
My car is a few years completely repainted and these stickers were overpainted. Hmmzz, interesting to replace these stripes and then lower it with some other bumpers and black wheels. Cool

I can try to duplicate these stripes in Illustrator... And then replace them.
I still have 2 completely rotten front doors with the stripes on it (the rear doors and the trunk are gone). So I can use those to copy it. Then I ruined it not completely Laughing

I already drove 400km's and I really enjoying it!
There's now a radio in my deuche and I'm building some speakers in the dash. Also in the snow with -5 it starts immediately and drives very well!
I played a bit in the snow with my car and some Volvo's this weekend.
