Oh I wasn't talking about that chassis in particular, but a decent chassis in general... i wouldn't touch that one with a bargepole _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Max, is that engine and box still up for grabs or are you having it for a later project???
I might be interested if the price is right .
Looks like it used to be a submarine with that ammount of rust . _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

thats a good idea to get it 602 cc.
a 4 cilinder engine is going faster only you can't get enough parts to get them rolling.
and the 602 technic is going years and years. Good luck to fix the chassis of the Wegenwacht VAN _________________ 2cv rolls beter then a rolls! |

I think making 2cv's whit GS engines are always good ideas. There will
still be enough 602 engined 2cv left. But for sure you need to use
some more money to make it.

i definatly get what you mean tony, we call it the geek forum. as it is. i only check it for free stuff.
olli: it would definatly be great to put a gs engine in. but as you say i need money and parts... which in reality, isnt going to happen, |

Decided. I'm gonna stick with my vw 1835cc lump. It looks a far simpler engine than the 1220cc and i know i can get bits for it anywhere in the world (nearly) . _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

Max,
Shout Curtis off the 2CVGB forum, It turns out he has a pretty good Ami Super chassis bare and ready to sort out i believe.
Im actually quite worried about those pictures you took of mine, it looks 'fooked. _________________ Too Much, is never enough. |
