Hello,
My name is Lionel, some of you here know me, I am a member of the Canards Sauvages (the Wild Ducks), for the others this is what Ilook like:

And this is the place where I park my cars:

« La Grange » was build around 1880, and is part of a big farm, somewhere in South Berry (middle of France), quite near from where French National Meeting took place in 2004. If you come inside, this is what you will find:

and closer:

the "Malabar Princess", because of its color that is close to the one of a french brand of chewing gum (Malabar),

the "Belle Epoque", as its builder name it. A survivor of the french custom craze of the eighties.
This one sits on a AMI super chassis, and wear a full Bipe Kit, with specific Delta-Mic wheels.

AMI 6 of 1966, my birth year,

AZU ex EDF (french electricity compagny), and AZAM 65, another old custom of the eighties, Renault metalic blue was trendy at that time.

and finally, what is my current project, a 64 AZAM on AMI 6 chassis with engine and gear box of the same origine, that will go topless as soon as possible.

Hi Lionel!

Great to see your cars here and welcom!

Funny to see all these 80's custom, some of these could be good base to make something cool! You have great collection of delta lines I see!

The malabar one was for sell in a magazine 4/5 years ago, you did buy it at this moment? You want to keep it like that, or "update it"?

What kind of style will you do on your 2cv with ami6 frame?

Thank you all.
Etienne, no, I bought it in 2004. The previous owner leaved an ad at the french association of 2 CV club display in the Retromobile show. He had been doing the same a couple of year before, but I was broke and could not afford it. This time was different, so I took away the pix, and as I knew him, went right to the place he was working at the show, and the deal was done.
No I won't leave it this way, I think of something more like that:

and my current project will have this kind of style:

I think of it as what a young guy could have done in the mid sixties. a lakes modified "à la francaise".

JoseF, I have a better idea:
my avatar on eBay is flat2win, if you remember me, you could bring me some doors and wings I would be happy to hang on the wall of "la Grange" and at the time you could get back those quarter panels! Wink

Deal done.

When Clod said you werent coming to Egletons he said not to bother to bring the doors and stuff because I would have to drive home with them Laughing

Could probably drop them off on my way to SPA Question

bye

JoSeF, I think the AZAM won't be cut for SPA, You see this is the problem when your garage stands 3 hours and a half from your home, you've got to plan a lot to progress on your project.
At this moment I am working with a friend on the master of the rear part of the body that wil be, you get it, polyesther.
As soon as the panels are availables, I will tell you.

Ok

Well, the A might be painted by then. Laughing

If not, cool

If so, I'll take them anyway (useful for a future project)

Thanks mate !
