Hey

Just finished getting my AMI8 ready for a little trip to Copenhagen, then through UK, then back to France...

Haven't lowered the blighter because I want to have an easy ride to drive and park...

Not one body panel straight or rust free, but super chassis and floors are perfect, despite condition of sills Shocked

Anyway...

Thought "Scars on Wheels" rather suits it Laughing (Belgian Joke Wink )

As I've only got a locking boot, I thought a little parcel shelf might make it a bit safer... Laughing

hehe, can always hope...

We shall see how she gets along... leaving tomorrow hopefully

Wink

Lower it! Damned!

You can go really lower and let it still "easy" to drive and park. Let around 1,5/2cm the tie rod screwed and it should be cool enough...

Hi Jozef,
an interesting concept you have there... 'virtual' sills?
Ken
( Bonne route and don't forget to pack your wellies if planning to camp in the UK in August, btw. )

Hey

I'll see what I can do about lowering it before I leave, but the time it is now... Confused

I don't know where I'm going, actually. The idea is not take a map, and ask for directions Laughing

All I know is I've got to get to Puttgarden in Deutschland.

After that...

Hi

your best bet is to find a real one at an army surplus.

this one is a lump of alloy, and it's much too heavy for the gear lever.
