That's a cool bike to start with. Go for it!
Look at the Bratstyle website. Lots of good examples there of Yamaha chops.

Etienne sure knows that site
Etienne, that bike has just that 18" Firestone on back, which I was telling
you about. So good looking rubber.
Really nice bike BTW, those are damn expensive in Finland already.
They are like "working british bike"

Olli, yep I was thinking it would be that tire we were talking about. It does look good no doubt. A neightbour of mine has few SR 500 for sale. They are already in parts and should be cheap.... but still no garage to work.
Mateo, I don't have neither my motorbike license. I think I gonna apply for it in spring. I would like to ride next summer... _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Hey Etienne, you don't need a license to BUILD a motorcycle!
Come live here in Arnhem, we have lots of space in our building. You can build anything you want. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Of course, that's why I planning to build the motorbike during the winter (soon as I have a garage), get my motorbike license in spring and finish the motorbike in the same time...
I would like to move to NL, thanks for the offer... but for moment I'm stuck in Freiburg. Maybe next year... _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Hey Etienne. Just picked this up for the very same type of project. Engine was siezed but i have another to go in already. Got to scalp the frame of all the brackets and crap that aren't needed and lower the backbone a bit.[img]
If it turns out half as good as this i will be very pleased.[/img] _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |
