That explains why he drives 2CV, no streamlining at all! _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

But he must like this colani dude
1981
Fuel economy world record set by the Colani 2CV (based on the French Citroėn 2CV, 1.7 litres for 100 km with the original 2CV engine and chassis.
I wonder how he did that. _________________ 2CV, with Visa turbo charged |

do you know Dyane based Tryane II?
Check http://oecc.nexenservices.com/Narizin/tech/Narizin-Tryane-II.php and Google for more details.
@mileage 'world record':
IIRC at WM in Orange (late 1980ties) there was a mileage contest. The winner cars put in 4th gear and passed the course at (raised?) idle.
Typical other (no 2CV) contests are won with accelerating hard and rolling out, accellerating hard and rolling out....

This guy lives about 30 km from me, I saw the car when it was being rebuilt after an accident about 13 years ago, the gearbox was had a fith gear by Weber from switzerland and it even had a wood chassis although re-enforced with carbon fibre around the axle mounts |

Those first two bikes look like they carry a bomb in the frame. Early suicide bomber bicycle? _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

I like that they use truck parts, for that extra big feeling.
The grille of this car and parts of the exhaust are made of glass, the creators are glass-blowers. Pretty amazing stuff. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

I just got back from a trip to Canada. By accident, I stumbled into a very nice example of streamlining, which turned out to be built by a local car builder: Barney Oldfield. It was in the Victoria museum in British Columbia and I just wanted to take it home with me.
The car was completed in 1942, using a ten year old chassis from Chevrolet with the engine moved to the middle.
Also spotted in Canada, used for tours on the Colombia Icefield, this remarkable collection of vehicles.
This was built in the 1930s.
This is from the sixties, a regular tourbus with tracks fitted. It's weird!
Today, they use this, built in the 80s.

Holy shit that blue halftrack bus! Amazing!
That green streamlines is weird, rear looks really fine but front looks
like some one made it in his own garage.
Was there cold in Canada?
