today i was going to change the front tyres of my daily car, then i saw this
i thought that subspension parts from a 2cv where indestructible .
it's probably broken because of the heavy shock absorbers _________________

And you're not the first one, Deuch'n'roll had this same problem... twice!
I think, too hard shock absorber and regular springs make too much work for the shock absorbers fixations. Don't you think? _________________ www.super2cv.com |

I think so too, besides the welding on 2cv suspension arms is not as good as generally thought, for 4x4's the arms used to be rewelded to make them stonger.
annyway, you were right on time, finding this out. |

i think it's only because of the hard shock absorber, because the spring is mounted on the same bracket. would’t it ? _________________

If you look welding guality of arms this is not really suprise.
Weld them again and make some extra pieces to them to be good.

You don't use neither the "cooling" stuff.
I guess you have a "oil-temp-meter"? _________________ www.super2cv.com |
