I know someone who has a lot of cool cars but this one he will not sell to me. I think I'll have to steal it....

It has a chopped roof, all good bodywork and floors, Amisuper chassis with GS 1300 engine and 4 speed trannie.

The guy started it 8, 9 or maybe even 10 years ago, went this far but then stopped and put it away.

And still he won't sell to me!!! AAAAARRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!

Interresting car, but with top chop it looks even higher... kind of off road Dyane!!

Here a pic, of the pick up dyane of a friend of mine.
The bodyshell is 20cm wider as regular one!

I think I saw this car in World meeting of Holland 1997.

It was "3wheeler" on that time. (rear arms was changed on left to right.)
Maybe I found photo if I search.

Correct, this body was also on the meeting in 1997. It had a cut off chassis and the rear wheels placed towards each other to have a threewheeler look.

Bjorn, Sam and Olli all get 10 points from pays bas for recognizing the car.
In the next round you could win a refrigerator.

Now steal that car!

I already have some ideas about it....

I like more that green one, cool old custom touch.
Dont steal some ones car Wink 2cv/dyane is so simple body work that
choppings, channelings, etc. are more easy than in most of the cars!
Like all windows are straight so they are super easy to cut new.
Make many new customs!

by the way, here is some of mine custom drawings ---> LINK

Cool stuff Olli. YTou make nice paintings. Is it also your job? I don't have the patience for drawing or painting like that. Usually I draw when it is very late. I get an idea, grab a pen or pencil and start scratching just so I do not forget what the idea was.

I like the Volga as well. Did you see those guys from I think Russia who made a beautiful new version of the Volga on a BMW 850 floorpan? It's really great.

I am dreaming also of a Tatra 603 leadsled.....

And don't worry, I don't steal. But I find it a shame that such a promising project is left like that.

Ofcourse I get that this stealing thing is joke Wink
Many times when someone has something what he dont wanna sell,
is good to get something what he needs/wants and try to make exchange.

Drawing is not my job - yet. I'm still a student, I'm studying Applied arts and design.

I know that BMW Volga project. They also made another where they "just"
changed front and rear on Cabrio BMW. Body, Doors etc. was still from
BMW but it looked like volga. Those Russians make unbelieveble work
when they want to.

Another idea for this Dyane.

-Channeled to maximum (underside of sills equal with underside of chassis). -Doors and body sectioned (underside 7 cm removed).
-Front wings moved up (7cm) and out (also about 7cm).
-It already has an 8cm topchop.
-Rear fenders widened Dyane.
-2CV vinyl roof over cab and also over pickup bed.
-carb(s) sticking through bonnet
-sunvisor over front window
-headlights with a "hood" over them like 57 chevy

I imagine black or dark grey Burton wheels, matt orange paint with white scallops, a big gold leaf 74 on the side, some michelin, total etc stickers on the side and some nice yellow rally Cibie lights on the front. Maybe even a spotlight on the drivers a-pillar.

I can't do photoshop as well as Olli but this is what I made up for the Flat4.

I will print this and colour it! If you have any cool ideas for paint, do the same, scan it and post it. Yeah, do it, do it!
