Hey I start this new topic!

I'm big fan of Bratstyle!
I'm thinking make something like this one:

As a first motorbike, it would be cool, and easy to make. And this kind of small japanese motorbike are easy to find and cheap...

Nice bike, I think it is Yamaha SR 500. I also think its Japanese made custom.

This one is from the Japanese firm called Bratstyle. A friend of mine visted it last year. He likes to build bikes in this style as well.

Yamaha XS650 is used a lot for this kind of style, as well as SR500. A few examples that my friend built (and I painted):

that Kiwi indian is running new engine by "Kiwi Indian".
I dont really get their idea by making that bike, they try to
make traditional bobber whit some new ideas. Rear axle
mounting and rear fender are totally of the style and ruin
the bike. It makes all "visual weight" on rear of bike.

Hmm, I haven't seen a trike I liked to this day. I just don't see the point. Get a Morgan threewheeler, theyre way cooler.

Of all the styles I've seen so far, the Japanese make the most lovely sickles right now, as far as I'm concerned. They are not stuck in tradition, have new views and are not always in the "bigger = better" style (engines & tires, I mean).

This is the newest project of my friend. It has a Yamaha XS400. Still to be finished with shortened front forks, tuck&roll seat with metalflake piping, a flakejob on the tank and rear fender etc.etc.

I really like Nimbus 4 cilinders and would like to own 1, someday.
