Not even that. It's a fixed gear (no freewheel in the back), so the only way to brake is by trying to stop your pedals from turning. Built for the velodrome, but I ride on it in summer, mostly along the canal far away from danger enjoying it's looks in the sun! Knowing that there are retard people driving it downhill in San Francisco ... no thanks! One good thing about this bike is that you notice every danger, the ones you normally ignore/forget when driving a bicycle with brakes.

Your brother has a great job! His bike has better gearing than mine, perfect for braking and accelerating ... mine is just for speeding! (and hoping to stop at my own tempo ) |
