This V8 2cv was presented in the book : "La 2cv 40 ans d'amour", I don't remember what they told about it, but it was in.

If anybody has this book, perhaps are there some informations about it.

The book says: engine is a 6.2 Buick V8 with 340hp, the chassis from a Triumph Spitfire and the drivetrain was taken from a Ford Capri 2.6. The car is 40cm shorter than original.

Funny Russ (shed speed) and me were discussing rear wheel drive 2 CV's on Saturday.

I got the book & this is what it says:

I can't read or speak french, that's why i didn't translate it! Embarassed

Haha! Excellent!

I think I know this beetle!
It overtook me on highway close to Strasbourg, last summer!
It was really fast... and really ugly!

Could that 2cv with the V8 have anything to do with this one?
