Hi Snails, I love this forum.
I was interested in the age of people posting and customising their 2cv...
I am 27, from Australia and i feel like a young punk when it comes to a 2cv owner! I have had Kermit for nearly 10 years now. I don't think there are many young people interested in 2cvs in Australia, probably because of the cost.
I admire the custom mods I see here but would be hesitant to do a major chop on kermit as parts and cars are limited in OZ.
Keep up the great forum!

Hi Harley. Welcome aboard.
I'm 41. Probably one of the oldest here. I owned my first 2cv in 1979.. well, in fact it was my parent's, but they bought it because I persuaded them !

Hi Harley, I'm 41 too. I completed my first 2cv (1964 model repainted in etna grey with a bruch) a single week before leaving for Sheltenham international meeting (that was 1985 if Alzeimer didn't already got me). _________________ 0 to 70 in the same day! |

I'm 32. My first summer job was in Citroen garage when I was 12. Spent all summer degreasing Dyane and GS engine parts in gasoline. That got me started. |

Welcome on this forum! I'll be 24 in february, my 2cv is 30 years older. The very first car my father bought when he was young was a Renault Dauphine Gordini, great car. He sold it after a while and got his first 2cv, a Belgian built Azam6 ... that's when all trouble started!

Yes Etienne, there are some and surprisingly they have half on the slough built 2 CVs. And thay have some recent ones, but Harley probably knows more about it. There are clubs too ! |
