It seems the front of the car been modified to an extent, the bonnet catch mechanism is missing for starters.

One day these cars will all be sold to people who use them, its such a shame they will degrade in the time they are stored.

That's right, and the trims around front flashers are shortened. It feels like the grille surrounding lip has been moved forward to accomodate the flat4 fan shroud.

I noticed that but its hard to tell from the picture, there is a lot of space behind an ami6 front but maybe it still needs modifying?

Yes the front face is a little bit modified, but I'm sure with some small modification regular face could fit!

Here the James Bond one Geoff : http://snail.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=281

No more pics!

Statutory Offroad Notification - if a car's not taxed, then the owner must register his/her car SORN. The SORN must be renewed every year, if your car's not taxed or SORN'd then the government run DVLA - the people that look after the records for all vehicles registered in the UK - can fine you. It's free to claim SORN (at the moment), if you are caught using a car or storing a car on a public highway whilst under SORN you can be liable for a fine of up to a £1000!

So people like Nigel can have 25+ cars all on SORN, which means it costs him nothing, but doesn't allow him to drive the cars on a public highway. Our government have tried before to introduce 'posession tax', this would mean you would have to pay a yearly tax charge on every vehicle in your posession, regardless of whether it was in use or not!
