I need to agree whit JoZeF...
I'm always into "crazy" ideas - when they give you great looking vehicle.
I'm sure that your car will be different and some people will really like it.
But you are doing hell a lotta work whit it and you get strange funny thing
(my opinnion) and 2cv scene is already "full" of "strange funny" things.
What have nothing to do whit good looking cars, they are "just funny".
Whit same energy and A BIT different kind a ideas you could have 2cv
what gets good feed back from all car customizing scenes..
But at the end, you are making car for your self.

Ooops Tony your plan isn't universally liked maybe you should keep this one under wraps until its finished and then reveal it
I do have to say that there is a lot going on in the custom/rod world that isn't to my taste, people suggest stuff that sounds awful but once finished actually works well. I tend to sit in my corner of the custom world surrounding myself with stuff I like but occasionally someone comes up with a radical idea that blows me away, but if they had told me they were building it I would have wet myself laughing.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that we need people to push the boundaries to keep things fresh, some ideas work whilst others are total pants and should be publicly burnt. I can never see myself building cars like Andy Saunders Picasso, I don't have the skill or the vision but surely there must be a place for the Guy building his shorty 2CV and people like Tony with his 6 wheeler to express themselves and build with new ideas even if it's to prove that it should never have been done. _________________ In-the-Shed Speed Shop. |

I think its best to keep an open mind too, as Shaun says, If somebody told you they were going to drive a 2cv with no wings on, having made it longer and slapped a pick up bed on the back of a 4 door shell, you would think they were about to build a right dog, but as we know, in realitym thats not what happened.
I look forward to seeing what it finishes up like, even if it doesnt fit in with the mantra of Snail. _________________
