make rims what widens your wheels inside.. then they touch on arm- find Ami arms, they are 1,5cm more narrow each side.

If you use narrow rear axle (-1,5cm on each side), you can widener 3cm on each wheel (1,5cm to the inside and 1,5cm to the outside). So you should fit tires like 175/60r15... and it should looks good. Better that hugs ones go out of the fender...

and really try to use some Smart car tyres just like Etienne said 175/60,
175/55... No these 80's balloon tyres 185/80, 195/70........ or if "balloons"
go on bias ply tires!

Max, I know that car very well.

He used Rover Rims to widen the 2cv rims, AND he made the rear axle tube longer by 10 cm I think...

So maybe just the rims would be not too wide... depending on offset. What you could do is fit the wheels unwelded with tyres onto the van, and "push" in till it clears the body... you see what it looks like without doing the welding straight away

bye

BTW, I have 155 80 15 on my AZU, on Peugeot 203 rims.

they are so close to the wings I pulled them out a bit so it didn't rub and fuck up the whitewalls...

Note that I have an AMI Super/AMI8 rear axle, narrower than 2cv...

So... it looks like you can't go overly mad on tyre width with a 2cv van

Bye
