Cool view from inside:

Here is the rusty door:

Result after a few hours:

The structure of the door is perfect, only need to sandblast it in the corners.
I'm a lucky basterd who's got two doors that have never been used before. (old original stock!)

No problem!
Just mesure twice, cut once.
Keep the pump level.
Make it like it is original.
Here I used 1,5mm plate for the strenght
If your able to channel your car, you can made this as well if necessary |
Yes the channeling is almost half finished! I wonder if I would get away with not modifying the pedal assembly. _________________ Max Wyer |

Looks excellent, good work!
But I think I see on the pictures you used an old imitation rear wing on the right. The quality of the steel is very, very poor. If you paint it make sure all the black paint is gone or the new paint will come loose. Actually it is better to use a new zincor panel I guess...Same material as the sparewheel covers and the shape of the ripples will be the same then...now they are different.
But you are really doing great work! |

There are different aftermarket pannels, each one with different shapes.
The rear wing has got the same shape of ripples as the top of the roof.
The sparewheelcover is slightly different. Not everyone will notice that.
One old imitation I've had was bad quality, this ones welds very wel, Don't believe it's a poor quality. (the old ones were indeed no quality!)
Zincor is always better steel.
When I've bought this pannel, our supplier didn't had those zincor jet.
And the black paint will be removed completly.
But yes, thank you all for the comments! |

About the seat,
I think it's from a german 2cv.
It was installed in a multicoulered 2cv thas we've bought for parts.
It had a head support as wel, but not going to place it back I think. |

Used the bonnet of our raid car for the shape and some junk fenders for to cut and try.
New fenders are without the blinkers of course.

My new tank.
Aluminum, 2 parts.
Tested with pressure to be sure it doesn't leak.
Took me several days to made this one!
Wasn't easy, but pleased with the result.
