Hi, I've just used a firm to re-chrome the headlamp bowls on my Charleston. The result is very good. There was a lot of tarnishing and small pitting on the old surfaces. On one bowl someone had taken a disc grinder to the bolt head near the base and made a bit of a mess. The firm filled the grooves with solder and the end result is first class. They charged £70 and that included the repairs I've mentioned, chroming both headlamp bowls and clips and registered/signed postage. They are Prestige Electro Plating, Mexborough, S. Yorks. Hope this helps.

thanks for that, let us know how they hold up in time if any issue arises, that said. Good chrome is near impossible to find nowadays, sadly, so any good addresses are worth noting
