Hopefully August! Suffering from lack of parts at the moment though... wrong gearbox so need adaptors for the drive shafts
Need the crank adaptor and the throttle body pieces, and some brake calliper seals, once I have those it's just building the car that will take time! |

This is coming a long nicely.
I mainly have small things left on the list..
Heat wrap the exhaust, paint the engine bay. Then after I have some different driveshafts (the current are Ami Super welded to 2cv - they have held up so far but I don't trust them to last!) I'll get it MoT'd. Then it'll be time to have some real fun.
Best bit of the new quick release wings.. super easy to change wheels!

And I noticed on your FB that you live about 20 minutes from me, I live just north of Middlewich in Moulton
Are you planning on running it at Oulton Park? |
Yea should be, not sure when as yet, maybe in the winter after I've been to Mallory in it and finished the racing season!
Cool, a few of my mates from work live in Middlewich, not seen your car about? |

Took it to Registers. Didn't really drive it. My dad did and pulled the exhaust off. Little Rich, Pete Abbot and Neil did a fucking massive burn out (awesome), and the engine came away from the adapter plate - the clutch lever fork was also bent, possibly in relation to this incident.
So I took the engine out in the field then when I saw the clutch fork I decided to fix it at home.
Welded the clutch fork up and put the engine back in. Raised it a good two inches at the front but will have to do something creative at the back.. All working once more. |
