So I've been thinking about the interior, mainly lining the inside of the body and door trims...
Made a cheap purchase of an old Italian leather couch in good knick...
I think it would look cool with exposed asymmetrical stiching...
What do you think?
I've also done a bit more with the manifold and sourced some smaller spark plugs. ..

More work done, more pics!
This is roughly how the oil cooler will sit, the pulley belts are just for reference.
I added 10mm Teflon spacers under the inlet and supercharger to keep the heat out of the manifolds.
Reinforced the left exhaust manifold now that it is holding the alternator,
Build a new exhaust from two shorter ones to go with the 2-1 I purchased.
Added a sleeve to ensure the core doesn't shift!

Thx Tony
The supercharger is an Aisin Amr300, it comes from a small jap kei car called a Subaru Vivio, 650cc.
We don't have that car in Australia but the small superchargers are common as they get sent over with container loads of jap front cuts .
.
I can order you one if needed

tempting offer! maybe combine p&p for us poor guys where these goodies are not availible....
have been reading about it for a long time, and actually I just want one even if I'm never going to use it....
would be soooooo much cooler then just sticking in a beemer engine... (wich is cool as well)

Hello Harley,
Nice try for the engine and its blower but I hardly doubt it will fit under the hood...

i Silc,
No problem with the supercharger fitting under the bonnet, I tried it on my current motor before building the manifold. Even channeled 50mm at tge front it sits lower than the original alternator, it looks higher wothout the engine cowl.
Planning and work = luck

Harley, have You started the engine with supercharger? I can say, it's "little bit" loud... Especially when it's not connect to inlet manifolf, when restricted the outlet by hand, it silence a lot... _________________ Make it today, tomorrow it's probably illegal... |
