Do you drive without suspension pots? It will destroy your chassis. Idea of
the pot is that rear spring is supporting front one and other way round. So
now chassis is holding all the forces.

It is what we say! But to have traveled(browsed) thousands of kilometers like that with one 2cv, there is no probleme! |

Olli,
in 'floating canisters, transfer of tie rod pull is only partial and in 'fixed' canisters such as those used on later Amis, AK400s & all Acadianes, there is no transfer.
I'd be more worried about the misalignment of the tie rod caused when the free end of a spring droops, then the tie rod will eventually saw itself apart against the inner face of the end tube which supports the canister.
Not much fun when a tie rod breaks, although you will find just how "low you can go".
Citroen provided those tubes for a very good reason...

Why did you welded the springs together with a tube or what might be |

to make them "harder" I guess.
As for the no spring canister setup, if you just put a flat bar between both shock absorber mounting points it solves the problem. _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

I've driven like this for years without any problem, i did mount a strip of steel under the springs to prevent them from hanging, in case of a jump.
I would be more worried about the springs breaking, just beside the part where it's welded. |
